Basic Gyaru Makeup Tutorial/ ずっとギャル～

Gyaru = Gal
Most Gyaru styles revolve around big brown eyes, blonde hair, light eyebrows,and brown makeup! (Tanned skin optional)
But the most crucial part of a Gyaru Girl is her eyes!

Step 1: Circle lenses.
This step can be optional,but circle lenses will help you achieve the look you're going for more easily. Insert at least 14 mm lenses, preferably a lighter brown color.However, you can choose any color you like. (Be sure to take good care of your lenses,as they can damage your eyes if not used properly.Always wash your hands before touching them and your eye. Also replace the solution they saturate in every day,don't wear them for more then 8 hours, and dispose of them on the expiration date!


Step 2: Prime the eyes.
As a lot of eyeshadow will be applied,as well as eyeliner, it is helpful to apply a base of any kind of eyeshadow primer. This will prevent any makeup from smudging or creasing, and extend its longevity,


Step 3: Eyeliner.
Apply a thin line of light or dark brown eyeliner above your upper lashline, extending it downwards to create a slight cat eye. Now,starting at the middle of your eye where it starts to curve upward; take the same eyeliner, draw a horizontal line extending to the edge of the first upper line of eyeliner. This will create a "sideways D" shape to your eyes.

Step 4: Eyeshadow.
Now,taking a light brown eyeshadow, lightly shade in the area around the crease of your eyelid,making it look more deep set. Then,lightly shadow around the bottom of your eye,avoiding the corners. (Optional) Take a white or light eyeshadow and highlight the corners of your eyes.


Step 5: False eyelashes.
Apply false eyelashes on the upper lashline. If you can, purchase eyelashes that have some space in between. Next, taking a 3/4 length eyelash strip,glue it along the bottom line of eyeliner, do not follow the natural line of your eyelashes. Afterwards apply a coat of mascara  to both the falsies and your real lashes to make them look thicker and blend together more.Curl them if necessary.


If you do not want to wear false eyelashes, taking a liquid liner, you can draw small eyelash lines near the corners of the top and bottom of your eye, Only attempt this if you are a decent artist!

Now that the eyes are complete, you can continue on to get the entire look!


Step 6: Eyebrows.
This look calls for light or bleached eyebrows. If you do not wish to dye them and you have darker eyebrows, you can apply concealer ofer your eyebrows and then fill them in with a light eyebrow pencil.
Make sure they are neat!


Step 7: Face& Lips
Okay,so technically this should have been done before you started on the eyes. Gyaru girls have flawless skin! It is often tanned,but many also opt for a lighter golden skin tone. If you have a pale complexion, apply a golden bronzer along the sides of your face,and contour your nose with the same bronzer. This will make your skin glow.


For your lips, apply a light pink lip gloss. That's about it.

Step 8: Hair.
You can do whatever you want with your hair, as long as it is blonde! If you want to really achieve the look, it looks best to fill your hair with large curls, and cute accessories (ie: bows, kawaii clips, bright headbands,etc.)


Step 9: Clothes
Gyaru girls often wear very cute and girly clothing. Go for anything with frills, pink, buttons, lace, bows, and bright colors! For the best effect, wear a dress, and cute shoes.
